This may sound stupid but
1} should I turn pumps off for a period of time when feeding photoplankton (DT'S)
2} should I always spot feed all plankton feeders
3} How much ? like polyps, xenia's, clam, ricodia you's get the picture
4} 1-2-3 x aweek
5} Day or nite or some day or nite
I know this a lot of questions but 14 months into this venture I am doing great and want to improve and only you's with experience can really help. Thanks Dave

Do not turn off pumps . . . they circulate the DT's throughout the tank.
I have never spot fed a coral except my brain which consumes meaty corals. Most corals will not consume DT's. They consume the zooplankton which consumed DT's.
Start off with the recommended dose on the bottle. Then increase it until you start to get an algae bloom then back off a bit. Thats how much you should dose IMO.
Personally, I dose 2x weekly, others every other day. Its really up to you.
I dose when ever I remember or can get to it. Sometimes at night . . . sometimes during the day.

I turn off the skimmer, but not the pumps. I feed about twice a week, sometimes 3 times. Sometimes during the day and sometimes at night. I don't spot feed the corals and everything seems fine right now.
