feeding DTs

when you feed DTs do you cut off the porien skimmer?for some reason i think my skimmer gets mst of it.And how often do you feed

I do not turn off my skimmer. I add 1 cap ever other day and every 3rd time, 2 caps. Works pretty good.

I do not turn my off either. I know some people that do. My LFS suggested having it off for 2 hours but I have chosen to keep ity going and I feel my corals are doing well.

You can take a bowl, add the DT then add some tank water. Use a turkey baster and squirt the bowl mixture towards the corals or lower in the tank to avoid it being skimmed off the top.
