Feeding Hairy Mushroom and Star Polyps????

What should I feed my Hairy Mushroom and Star Polyps??? I am currently using Phytoplex, 8 drops 2-3 times a week. Is this enough or too much or should I supplement them with something else???? <img src="graemlins//confused2.gif" border="0" alt="[confused2]" />

Sometimes at night youe will see your hairy mushroom make like a purse that is open. When you see this put a piece of krill in it and it will close up and digest it.

Bi-weekly I mix an assortment of stuff with dt's and zoe....let it thaw real good and use a turkey baster to spay each of the hungry mouths in the reef....including several hairy 'shrooms and an assortment of polyps......my green hairy 'shrooms are very fond of silversides.........

NM Reef do you also feed your lobophyllia? I have one and it's doing great but the LFS saifd it feeds off phtoplankton but I have read and heard different. <img src="graemlins//yeahright.gif" border="0" alt="[yeahright]" />

I feed my harry shrooms brine shrimp soaked in zoe once a week. Feed the tank (including green star polyps) phytoplankton, twice a week. Your star polyps will eat the phyto out of the water column, so they don't require any direct feeding. HTH
