Feeding lionfish

I'm thinking of getting an A. Lion and have a question. How often do you feed it. Everyday, every other day ???. Also, when feeding ghost shrimp, should I have a separate tank for them to get an then feed the lion or do I just put a few in the tank with the lion and it'll take care of the rest!!!:D If I go buy 20 ghost shrimp, where do I keep them?

I don't think time of day is really relevant. Probably not right when the lights are turned on.
I fed my lion Krill, Shrimp, Silversides, and scallops. Sometimes he'd chomp cubed food.

Get them to eat by slowly mixing in live food with frozen food, then go to full frozen. ITs easier to do this with frozen silversides, cuz u can wiggle them by their tails so that they look alive. Once they figure out yer the one feeding them, they will start biting at most things that fall into the water.

Thanks for the tip, Liontamer. I actually got one yesterday and it's acclimating very nicely and eating ghost shrimp. The little blue damsel isn't to happy that a fish that looks like an angry Vegas showgirl moved in, but he'll adjust!:scared:

that i highly doubt bcuz i don't think that the lion will be able to catch it unless it ambushes it.

This fish is NUTS!!! Lola (the A. lion/angry Vegas showgirl) goes for the ghost shrimp like crazy, then follows the krill all the way to the bottom of the tank then turns and looks at me like, "What the heck is this?!" She'll figure it out one of these days.
