feeding lionfish

Can anyone tell me WHAT and HOW OFTEN to feed a lionfish?

Lionfish are pretors of small fish and inverts...thus you don't want to ever put anything in your system that might be considered "food" for this fish.
Some people use goldfish feeders or you can get live food from a bait shop. You might be able to offer it "dead" food, like a peace of shrimp, but you'll probably have to hold it up to him on a toothpick or something similiar.

Pure fresh water food is a little short on fatty acids, I will use some fresh water feeders, however his prefered food is large freeze dried shrimp offered on a feeder stick. I use other frozen foods as well. It took two months before he took to the feeder stick. It is kind of like fishing use the same movement. He likes to think he is hunting.

feed him just like u would a trigger, that seems to work
