I set up my 125gal w/ 80# lr & 130#ls. all readings have been great since the setup (about 7 weeks). i added an invert package a few weeks ago but no fish yet. do i need to be putting any food in the tank while there are no fish in there to keep the tank cycled and keep live sand and stuff alive? when i add fish now is the tank going to recycle since there have not been fish in there yet? thanks (in advance) for the help

IMHO I would think that the inverts would keep the bacteria going. They eat so they excrete.
Since it is a new tank you don't want to stock really fast eather, so by the process of adding fish your bacteria colonies should increase as you go.

Now, wait a minute??? Are you saying you're not feeding your inverts? Or am I misunderstanding?
Yes, you need to feed your invert pkg! If you're not doing so already! All living creatures must eat.
