Feeding LTA

I just put an LTA in my tank and was wondering how often I should feed it. I know the clown is suppose to help with the feeding but this morning she didn't. Not only am I wondering how often, but how much as well. I know with fish it is as much as they can eat in a minute (or three depending on who you ask) but what is the amount for the LTA? Thank you.

maybe like every 3 days or so would be ok. you can cut up small pieces of silverside or go to your grocery store and go to the seafood section and pickup RAW shrimp. cut a small piece of the raw shrimp, smaller than an eraser end and use a turkey baster to blow it into the anemones tentacles.. it should quickly grab on to it and start pulling it towards its mouth
if you just added this lta, give it 1 week to settle down before you feed it

Now I have some frozen brine shrimp and was under the impression that it would be good to feed the anemone as long as I obviously thaw it first. What are your thoughts?

i cannot comment on the frozen brine shrimp and what the nutritional values would be, but I would go with something meatier.
and it would be a great idea to thaw it first, i forgot to mention that. make sure you thaw it and rinse it in either RO/DI water or even saltwater would be fine. just dont rinse in the tap water since you dont know what youre going to be soaking the food with.
what i usually do is just get a raw shrimp out, cut small pieces, thaw them out, and then feed them to my fish and feed just one small piece to the LTA.
you can get a raw shrimp thatll last you for a couple of weeks or more from walmart for like 40 cents or something, or you can ask an LFS if they carry silversides

I feed my anemones silversides and raw shrimp . You can vary the size you feed depending on the size of the anemone and it`s mouth . I feed mine every 2-3 days .

I used to feed mine once a week with silversides. Now I only feed occasionally because it is starting to out grow my tank. My clown used to take the food away from mine but now I can drop a silverside in the water and my clown will give it to the LTA. What kind of lighting is it under?
