feeding my anemone

i need to get rid of some damsels i used to cycle my tank with if i catch one will my anemone eat it if i put it near its mouth?

thats kind of mean no offense. This is not necessary at all. Just let nature take its course or give back the damsels to the lfs. If your damsels are a problem, take them back to the lfs but don't kill them which is essentially what you want to do. Yes your feeding your anemone but there are much more alternatives to feed an anemone.

I don't know what type of anemone you have but if its a hosting type then maybe, maybe not. Even clown fish are of the damsel family, and many damsels have been known to be found in anemones frolicing around.
My advice, just take it back to LFS and give it to them.

Yes I forgot to mention just like Thomas that some damsels will actually host in some anemones or will be unaffected by them. Just take the damsels back to the lfs.
