Feeding my BTA

I'm sure this question has gotten asked and answered a million times but after reading some of the threads I have seen people answer differently everytime.
How often should I feed my Bubble Tip Anemone?
"Is it once a week?"
"2-3 times a week?"
"Once a month if its good lighting?"
I have a 24gal JBJ nano cube with 150watt metal halides (10,000k) and 1 36watt power compact light. (50/50)
My water flow/turnover rate is over 600GPH.

So how often should I feed mine?

The reason you see so many different answers is because there is no absolute right or wrong.
So in answer to your question, Yes. Meaning any of the listed feeding schedules will be just fine.
I've had mine for over a year now, and at times I've fed daily, weekly, monthly, all seem to be fine...
Hope this helps

Thanks..
How do you know if you are overfeeding? I heard people also say "don't overfeed your anemone!!!!!!!!!!!"
Because everytime I try to feed mine..it takes it really quick into its mouth. Does that mean its hungry and Im not feeding enough? Or does that mean..thats how they are.

Well, this is also a matter of opinion. I don't think there's any way to quantitate the perfect amount of food per meal or # of meals per week for an anemone. When I decide to give a "big" meal, I slice off a piece of a jumbo shrimp. If giving this, I only do so maybe twice a week. Smaller meals = blender mush, which is what I feed my fish. I've been feeling lazy lately, so that's what I've been doing - when I feed the fish, I just target some of the mush toward the anemones with a turkey baster. If they get some, fine, if not I try again the next day....
Try a couple different ways, and observe your animal's reaction.

Ive been feeding my little less then a half a small cube of mini mysis shrimp at least 3 or 4 times a week. It grabs it out of my fingers everytime very quickly. I think I need to feed more often because I dont think my lighting is enough although it is about 7watts per gallon. I have a 24gal jbj nano cube with 150watt metal halides 10,000K and one 36watt 50/50 power compact. I dont think its enough lighting because my anemones color seems to be going away. :(

I wait for mine to move. He stays put if he feels the food source is good. Seems to take about 4 or 5 days for him to start to stray.

I have been feeding mine, silver sides for about a year now. My clown also feeds it mysis shrimp. It has proboly doubled in size since I got it, and becides the clown beeting it up a litttle bit is very healthy. I only feed mine once a week, but some times I skip to two weeks if he looks happy.

i never go and feed full chunks of shrimp and rarely spot feed. when feeding the tank, the food gets dispersed and the anenome will catch some - filter feed. the clown will also feed it. mine have grown larger this way. in the wild they will likely not get a huge surge plankton everyday, but rather constant small amounts.
