Feeding Pink Tip and ? About Tomato Clown

Hello, I have a pink tip anenome, I've had it for about a week. I tried feeding it freeze dried brine, but it could never catch it without it floating away. So I went to the grocery store today, and bought some raw medium shrimp. I peeled them, washed them off, and then rinsed off with some water from my tank. I cut it to about the size of a dime, and then held it up to the anenome with some tweezers, and bam, as soon as one of the arms touched it, it grabed it, shriveled up some other arms around it and ate it. It was pretty cool, I just had one more question on what else I could feed it, would clam chunks be ok? I saw a container of them for $4 and it would probably last a month or so. Also, how often should i feed it? I have read every 2-3 days, or once a week? Right now I guess I will stick to the 2-3 days if I dont hear otherwise. Also, would it be beneficial to soak the shrimp in any supplements or is the shrimp all it needs? Also, I have a tomato clown, and I really dont care if it does or not, but has anyone had a pink tip host a tomato? Thanks!

i believe you can feed clams. i also feed scallops. every week i feed something diffrent ( of the mentioned foods). once in a while i soak the food in the same vitamin supplement i use for my fish. i havent had any negative effects yet. usually when i soak it in the vitamins i chop it up and feed it to my fish too.
also i dont know if you have any cleaner or other shrimp but i usually hand feed them a little piece of what ever i am feeding the anemone.. they go crazy for it !!

glad its doing well.. about the clams you would want to be careful if you buy a container and let it sit in the fridge for awhile. you dont want it to go bad and feed it to the anemone. i bought a frozen package of squid and put some in individual packages in the freezer and that works well. i dont like seafood so when i go up to the fresh fish counter and ask for just one scallop or one shrimp i always get a weird look. lol
