Feeding question-sump users

Do you shut off your return pump when you feed? It seems like a lot of food goes down my overflows.

When my turnover was 7-10 X it wasn't too hard to feed and leave the pumps on most of the food was consumed befor going over the overflow...
Now that the tank is pushing 20 X turnover I have to shut the sump/pump off (one small powerhead still on) to keep anything in the tank long enough to be eaten/captured by the filter feeders.
I found I had to feed less, as more was being consumed and less wasted as well...

I turn mine off as well. I have a lot less wasted food to break down in the tank, too. Now I feed what seems to be a more normal amount.
