Feeding question

I have a sweetlips (spotted) and I am currently feeding a pinch of flake in the morning some seaweed sheet (which he doesn't even look at) and frozen mysis at night. The only other fish is a flame hawk. The other night I put a cube of mysis in the tank and he didn't even wait for it to thaw. He just went over and woosh it was gone. What else can I feed the fish. Would raw shrimp be ok. Or ????? Any suggestions?

he should do very well with crustation and meaty diet.not much into veggies so the seaweed is basicly useless to feed him same with your flame hawk as both are carnivores. foods such as shrimp/krill/scallops/mullusk,mysis/crab.even squid may prove to be of his liking.be sure to feed a variety off foods as no one food species will complete its nutritional needs and should be fed daily adding garlic extreme and selcon to the foods before feeding(thawed) also proves to be helpful in boosting nutritional value of each food chosen .i like to mix and match foods with each feeding by blending it all together 1-3 types to ensure the fish are eating.they also tend to be less picky this way

Its an 80g tank. I know they get huge. I didn't know that when I got it. The lfs had 4 of them and they said it would be just fine in my tank. Now they won't take it back because it has ich (from their store). So I'm gonna treat it and probably give it to someone on here who has a big tank and wants it. I don't wanna give it up but I'm going to reef and my tank isn't big enough. Very cool fish though.

So an update. He seems to be doimg fine. I went a bought fresh shrimp, scalops, squid, and clams. The little sob wouldn't eat any of it. Any other suggestions?

I did that. He tried it and spat it out and went over to the corner. I put in a little mysis too see if he is eating and he went nuts and sucked em all up
