Feeding sand sifting Gobies

Does anyone have a way of training Golden Head Gobies to eat in captivity? They do such a wonderful job at keeping the sand very white and clean. I have heard they are hard to get to eat and would love to keep them alive.

Thanks for the info. I did read that web page at some other site. I think my pair aren't as smart as theirs. I was thinking if there was a easy way to stash some brine shrimp in the sand or if there are any worms that I can add that will stay alive and live in the sand. I am working with them as per instructions at that web site for now. These sure are cool fish. They have become the favorite thing to watch on the reef.
Thanks again,
Kirk

for my bottom feeders, I usually toss in a pellet of freshwater food, everynow and again. I use the shrimp pellets from wardley. It sinks to the bottom and is usaully to hard for a little bit, so Pennywise9clownfish) and Torch (firefish goby) don't bother with it. Then the dwellers can get it. My cleaner goes nuts on this, he will grab it and then perch on one of my LR and poke it apart. This way it take a long time for the blue legs to get over to him. Just remember not to throw too many pellets in at first. Freshwater food has a habit of clouding the water a lot easier then saltwater food. I don't know why though.
Remember the will to survive is what keeps us going. Same for animals that has been around for a lot longer then we have....so he will probably find something.
