Feeding - shut off return and powerheads?

When you guys feed do you shut off the return and the power heads,just one or the other, or neither? I mostly concerned with stuff like Rod's and Coral Frenzy.

I always do, once it seems like they got just about everything I turn them back on. Just a personal preference I think you would be good either way though.

When I feed frozen, I pull the plug on my return pump, leaving all powerheads still running in the DT. When feeding pellets, I just take a little at a time and kinda throw it downwards, they sink. I don't turn off the return, so I lose a little bit, but not much.
