I have one that is about 10" now.
I have fed him everynight now so he will not go after my verts or fish.
I have been feeding him raw shrimp that is about 1 1/2" in lenght About 1/2 of an average small finger.
It takes it into the rocks and I never know if it eats it all or not?
Anyone know if I am over or under feeding?
I have a algae problem and waiting on SWF to reopen to order a larger cleanup crew. All test (that I can take)are fine.
Just wondering? Maybe another souce of food may be suggested also?
Thanks

You might want to cut the shrimp up into small chunks and feed a piece at time and see how it goes.
I would feed my eel about a 1cm cube each day of food and he seemed to do well. He was about 12 inches at the time.

I would say that you are overfeeding. My SFE takes food even when he's not hungry, and stuffs it away under the LR. I feed mine every other day. He's probably about 16" in length, and eats 1 small shrimp at every feeding. Also as overanalyzer stated, you'd probably get more responses in the aggressive forum.
