? Feeding station

I have 2 horses who eat like pigs. I am starting to notice algae growth and am reading about the causes and cures of algae growth. The only thing I think could be causing it in my tank is over feeding. I use a RO filter to make my water. Lights are new and on for 8 or less hours a day. I keep hearing of people using feeding stations. Can anyone explain to me how to do this. I can't figure out how you would get the food in the tank and keep it in one place without it just getting blown around the tank. Any other thought or ideas would be greatly appreciated!! I have been doing weekly water changes too.
Thanks,
Amanda

I use a turkey baster. Suck the mysis in the tube, and slowly squeeze them out into the feeding station. Best if you turn the powerheads off (and possibly the filter, depending on your flow) before you do this.
