Feeding Stick Ideas

Hey I got 2 eels now and I want to make sure they stay on the bottom while everyone is eating. I need a feeding stick that is about 36-40 inches long. Does anyone think this will work?

Too thick...
Try a thin wooden dowel rod.

You could improve on the dowel by adding a length of 50# test monofilament to one end of it or you could use the clear rod in your link (we use 1/8" acrylic rod). Here's the design we use for all of our preds:
