Feeding the bottom

I'm on my first sw tank. Simple setup 55g with about 20lbs of live rock and a couple of inches of live sand.
The clean crew can with a couple of brittle stars and I recently added a Yellow Headed Gobie (neat fish) along with others.
I'm concerned about the Gobie and starfish getting enough to eat. The Gobie does its sand sifting think all day. The stars only come out at night so I don't get to observer them too much.
I feed the fish (Clowns, Wrasses, Damsels) flakes most of the time then a frozen mixture, say every three feedings for a treat.
My question is: Is it enough to expect that the Stars and Gobie will get enough to eat form what falls past the other fish or should I be doing more?
Thanks!

I also had the same concern for my brittle star, so every 2nd day or so I put a little piece of formula one next to the star's arm and he grabs it and eats it. He seems to like it, and it makes me feel better knowing that he get something to eat.

Sandsifting gobies are difficult to feed. They need more food than what's is the sand. They are carnivores, they need meaty foods. Make sure food gets down to him. They often starve to death.(I got alot of this from Marine Fishes by Scott W. Michael)

I found that by dropping in a few extra shrimp pellets as well will help..... when I got my brittle it was only about 4" ,,,, now he is over 10" from tip to tip... as long as the fishes belly does not look sunken in you should be OK.......

lol my brittle star lives in a hole...every three days or so i take a peice of coctail shrimp out of my freezer, thaw it, and put it on a skewer...i poke the end down right next to the hole, and every time an arm comes up out of hte black and grabs the shrimp and wrestles it off the skewer. pretty fun to watch, actually =)
