Feeding

Lately it my fish have been eating more and more and being downright little pigs. I was just wondering how I know how much I should be feeding them without giving them too much. I have 4 damsels, 1 4" Maroon Clown and 1 2" Valintini Puffer. I feed them frozen shrimp. Is it just what they can eat in a certain time period?

id try to mix it up a little. a variety of foods is good for your fish. by my understanding is that you should feed fish as much as they can eat for 2-3 minutes. personally i think thats a little much. i feed them what they can eat in about a minute or so, but i do that twice a day. all fish fat and healthy.

Over the last year or so I went from 2 times a day to once a day and find that it works just fine. I feed each tank for about 2 minutes and I vary the diet. As I have mentioned before I keep a number of foods in a refer in my basement for the little darlings. Thru trial and error I have found the following to be their favorites (of course each type has different tastes and desires. Formula 1 & 2 and Angel Formula cubes; Frozen Brine, squid, krill, and Lifeline; Frozen Mysis Shrimp and Silversides. I do have Formula 1 & 2 and Prime reef flakes but only use those every so often mainly for the Angels and Butterflies. I should eat as well as these fish do. Also, I keep live Brine Shrimp and Blackworms that I alternate each feeding for their live snacks.
