I have two perc clowns and a 3 stripe damsel (gets along with the clowns perfectly!) in a 30gal. I have about 8 blue leg hermits, a coral banded shrimp and a conde anemone. Right now im feeding flakes 1-2 times daily with some plankton every 3-4 days for the anemone and the shrimp. What other foods should I be using to ensure a variety in their diets?

There's a great frozen food called "marine cuisine" that's specifically for the kind of fish you keep, sold at most LFS. It is a varied diet in itself, as it has brine, mysis, and krill in it, along with a "color-enhancing" additive. That's the only thing i feed my 7 fish, and they all love it.
You could also add in some bloodworms as well (these are mosquito larvae...)
