a friend of my wife found a site to see if there are any felons in our neighborhood.curious i googled it .its free.i have a 1st degree assult guy and a child molester close to here.it gives their name address and crime.if you want to find out about your neighborhood google felonspy .com
click on the map and just put your street, city and state.you will probably be shocked i was.funny my wife looked up her sister in ohio, she lives in a bad part of town there and she had less felons than we do out here in the country.
i know we arent supposed to post other sites but this is by far not a salescall .

Here in Az(and most states) you can go to az.gov, ca.gov, etc and search for "sex offender" and they have registries for sex criminals. There are about 300 people in the area I live and we have 6 sex offenders. Most are child rape and a few for sexual assault. How are child rapists not in prison for life? They must have been caught before the mandatory sentences were passed 15 years ago I guess. In the area of Sierra Vista (about 70000 including the county) there are 120+ sex offenders. It makes me sick and thankful my youngest is 15.

I have looked in the sex offender registries however, never seen the felon search before.........wow, what an eye opener. In my current neighhorhood (luckily for two more weeks), there is an arsonist across the street, one attempted sodomist, and one sexual batterer. Have I mentioned that my neighborhood is a gated community of about 20 houses! How crazy!

I looked and bout half a mile from me there is an attempted kidnapper. The guy is 17 years old WTH?

Yeah hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that site you have listed above is 100% fake. In fact, if you read their terms of service, which none of you obviously did, you'll get this little gem "FelonSpy Pages are completely random and fake. They are used solely to critique the sad state of our commercial, political, realities"
So before you go moving out of your neighborhood or collecting arms, just remember you were duped!

maybe ?what would be the point of having a free site .all felonies are public record.i might drive by a couple of the homes listed around here and see if the name on the site matches the name on their mailbox.i dont see any reason a company would do all this work on a site for no reason.i would think it probably isnt totally updated but who knows.it should be easy to look up a legit state site of registered child molesters and see if they match up.

They do it because although the map you look at and all the names on it are fake, those little "people search" banner ads on the top and side of the page are very real. They will give you very real results for very real money... And the makers of this little fake map make a pretty penny off such "real" searches...

good point.tell ya what at the local gas station they post registered molesters pics, and addresses.i will stop this afternoon and write one down and see if it matches on the website.
about a few months ago around here the gas stations started selling newspapers i think called mug shots .it shows pictures of the weeks arrests and what they did .pretty funny.

maybe smartorl can verify a name in his neighborhood?dunno just seems like alot of work on the site but there are plenty of scammers out there.

I am by NO MEANS trying to rain on your parade... I just don't want you to be so impressed that you or any of your friends actually patronize scammers by clicking or buying any of their banner ads, thats all!

in fact here is the easiest way... go back to that map page, and put in your address. Then, keep hitting the refresh button at the top of your browser, and watch how the names and addresses change!

Its random and fake. It has a sexual molester living in the middle of a river for me. I mean, I know the hudson aint that awesome of a river, but I doubt that anyone lives in the middle of it.

I didn't read much but like a said, 17 year old convicted of a felony? Would have had to have been a serious enough crime that he sure as hell wouldn't have been living back at home. I just figured it was a crappy site. Never dawned on me it was a gag.

well probably just like one of the reverse phone number sites.where you can punch in the number and find out who it is.some advertise its free but when you go to it the site gives you nothing but if its a land line or cell phone ,but of course to see more you pay.well sorry guys thought it was legit because felonies are public records but guess not.i should have known because i live in the country and being a volunteer fireman i go to alot of trailer home parks and you can smell the meth labs.the site didnt show any drug felons and i would think they are everywhere around here.
i could tell you some funny stuff dealing with these trailer people.in a few areas if there is a fire we have to call the sheriff's to get there before us.every time we get there the sheriff always has his hand on his gun.
