I just picked up a 80g bowfront tank and stand and complete setup. Its been setup for over two years. In some ways it is terrific in others not so much. First, there is really no flow, the only flow comes from the return pump from sump. It has an internal overflow which is awsome but looks terrible. So I want to paint the back of the tank black. Can anyone give some detailed instructions on how to do it? What type of paint to use?
Also it only has about 50 pounds of LR, would it hurt any to add some more baserock? Will it throw off any of my levels? If im going FOWL will I need any more flow then the one return from sump? TIA1
