has anyone used toms aquatics pro series PS4 canister with auto fill system. If yes do you recommend or have any other ideas?

What type of system are you planning on keeping? I wouldn't recommend a canister filter period for saltwater.......

I have seen their wet dry filter with top off but not a canister. Depending what you will have in your tank, save your money and either build or buy a sump or even a refugium and benefit by more water volume in the system.
