Fightin' Tang

Just added my Coral Beauty to my main tank and almost immediately, my formerly docile yellow tang started tail whipping him. Move the CB out and back in, now things seem to be calming down, but the CB is hiding behind the rocks.
I'm not sure if the Tang has calmed down because the CB is hiding or what. Question is, if there are problems, is it possible to move the Tang out of the main tank, QT him for three weeks, move the rocks and re-introduce him? Would that essentially be like putting him in "last"?
The tang has only been in the show tank for a month or so.

i had the same problem with my yellow tang when i introduced my koran angel. he showed him who was boss for about 3 days, and then the koran established his little spot, and now it is very peaceful. but i wouldnt of let it go on much longer then 3 days, cause it is a very stressful situation to the newcomer
