I've had my one clown for 9 months.
I went and added clown (same type) 2 and a half months ago
they fought but one took dominance and the smaller one changed into a darker color and all was calm.... until....
I looked yesterday and i couldn't find my one clown. He jumped into the back of my tank. When i put him back in they both fought like nuts.
The smaller clown is stressed but still fighting back.
Why would this happen?
All was fine for like 2 months. Why now?
And of course this is the day the go to a new and larger home!
any advice im desperate

Not as cut and dry as to why, habitat change is a big one, moving things around rearranging LR or corals. This can irritate them and make the dominate one a bit more aggressive than normal. It is also possible that they just never really paired but only tolerated each other. As the female gets more mature she will get more aggressive to her territory. And if she hasent paired with the other he will be subject to beat downs if he gets too close.
