i have a question. is the figi (blue spotted) puffer supposed to have its's tail pointed? ive seen it fan out a couple times and i was soo cool looking. is this normal?

Not sure what you mean by pointed. Puffers tails when open have a fan shape. Many keep their tails closed and wrapped to one side. I have one pork that has a forked tail due to it being nibbled on when it was young and it has never grown full again (this one is 7 years old now). If it was recently purchased it might have been nibbled on at the fish store, and it may grow full again but I wouldn't be concerned one way or the other.
