so im watching my tank turning my lights on every once inawhile to see how its doing and it looks like TINY TINY pieces of salt blowing around..... and its comming from the return....... i guess its like MINI MINI bubbles.... and im like hmm what if i turn off my CS8-2 skimmer.. and i did and it stopped shooting them out.. they were still blowing in the tank but no more was comming outta the return...... why is this happening? i cant get my water CLEAR its a bunch of salt like things or bubbles blowing around..... my skimmer riser pipe is all the way down still.. is that why??? any1 have any ideas.. i tried to turn the skimmer around so it lets out water FAR away from the return chamber and it sucks in the direction its not suppose to but it still does it a little??? got any ideas????? umm to see my setup...https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/169630/progress-pictures-on-my-125-reef-setup/40#post_1315734

Most skimmers need a break in period before they actually stop spitting the micr bubbles. Also try adjusting the air intake. HTH

theres no way to adjust if.. unless i dont kno.. its just the tube... nothing at the top to adjust it...... i can try moving the RISER pipe up.. cause its all the way down.. cause it said to keep it down for like 1 hour before moving it to ur desired level ho wu want the junk to look in the cup.. but i dunno.. im new and im lost.. tank is working and lookin GREAT.... and i dont want this not to be fixed.....

welll ok so i wait and when i need it it makes bubbles...... i cant have that... i turned it off and in 15 min.. tank was almost clear again
