filter feed or by hand??

i just got my 30'' sunpod and i'm going out tonight to get me a coral or anenmone. well my quetion is weather or not i have to feed them siler side or shrimp peices, or if i can just put some marine snow in there each day and let them filter feed?

Anemones are not filter feeders, most depend mostly on lighting for photosynthesis and also should be fed chunky meaty stuff like the SS, shrimps and krill, ect. once a week or so...
The corals depend on the type of species you get. Some are filter feeders and some need chunky foods and some live off just lighting....
