filter sock not big enoug to hld chemi pure...

is it ok that i have one unit of chimi pure in the filter sock and one unit inbetween 2 baffles before my return pump? i cant fit it all in my filter sock..
and also, i havent had my skimmer on for 4 days because i used ultra life for red slime. toda i did a 15g water change on my 90g because im finished treating my tank...after i did the water change and put my chemipure in i stated the skimmer and it started going nuts. is it because the ultra life is still in my system or something? when will be a good time to turn the skimmer back on? i thought a water change would be good enough to put my skimmer back on...
and how long should i keep the chemipure in the tank for?

well i cant run the skimmer because the gate vavle is open all the way and it is skimming so fast i filled up a 1 liter in 30 seconds!
and should i take the chemi pure out after 24hrs?

also, the chemi pure turned the filter sock black, is this ok? the skimmer still is pourin out water.... idk what i should do..

unless im missing it i dont see where on the bottle it says when to take it out...so far this has made my tank cloudy, not clear....odd..

Why are you running chem pure? Have you added a chemical that you should not have added? Did you rinse the chem pure first? I have used it before, you have to rinse it like any other carbon based product. It always made my tanks sparkle. Why were you using it? What did you add?

i added ultra life. its for red slime. it got rid of my red slime. thats why im using chemipure... i just dont no for how long i should run it. and yes i did rinse it but not alot because it says rinse lightly...
how long should i run it for...
and also, the red slime med did not affect my coral or inverts at all...just my skimmer and idk what to do to make it ok to turn it on. i got some more water ready for another water change...
