filter too strong?

Hey all. I have an aQua clear filter that I have set up as a refugium but I am a tad concerned that the flow from this filter is too strong for my tank. It's an aQuaClear 110 for 60-110 gallon tanks and my nano is a 15gallon. Is the waterfall from this filter too much flow? Is there such a thing in saltwater? :) If it is too much flow, is there anything I can do to make it less strong? I have tried to set up the LR so it obstructs some of the flow, but I don't think it's enough. I also have a powerhead (for the tank size) in a corner as well.
Also, kind of unrelated, does anyone know of a light that is good and strong for inverts and things that DOESNT have a blue cast? The one I have now is this one: http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/1/1/995-zoo-med-coral-sun-actinic-420-fluorescent-lamps.html and it's practically like a black light and I'm not really a fan. But if it's what they need, then I'll get over it. I just would like to tell my maroon clownfish is in fact maroon. :)

Actinic lamps are blue and are generally used with daylight lamps as supplementation lamps. Get yourself a good 10k lamp...it's a nice crisp white light. If you want a little blue, get a "50/50" lamp.
As for the filter, it kinda depends. If you think there's too much flow, there may be. You can adjust the flow on those filters by swiveling the input tube so it's just "off" the impeller hole (that's why there's a little "knob" sticking thru the cover).
