filteration for nano

I have been researching for a few months now and not many people have any good suggestion on nano filteration. I know must of the filteration comes from water changes, but I would like to have a little something extra.
The main suggestion was a Skilter 400 because of its size and the skimming capablity. Since a five gallon nano is so small the weak job a Skilter does seems to be sufficient they say.
Any opinions about the Skilter, or the any other possible alternatives?

If I was going to use a Skilter - I think the 250 would be more than adaquate for a 5 gallon nano. You'll get bubbles in your tank for sure when running the skimmer.
Are you planning to have live rock, sand, fish ?

I was planning on using a live sand bed, and NO fish what so ever. They create a lot of problem and increase the necessity for cleaning in the tank. I am planning to do all corals, with the exception of a little macro algea and a cleaner shrimp, and snails... maybe a few other little inverts. And the guy a my fish store recommended a internal filter called the sand shark 60, it was small but I'm not sure if I want to lose the space. And as for live rock I'm going to use the best cured Figi rock I can find. Update me on your tank please.
