Filteration??

Hello Everyone. This is my first post. So please be gentle. I am setting up a 46 Bow.
25 lbs Fiji Live
15 lbs Lace Rock
40 lbs live sand
Bak-Pak 2 Reef Ready Skimmer (No Bio Media)
Here is the question. Do I need an additional filteration? This will be a reef system with a few fish. ( Marroon Clown, Neon Dotty, and exquisite Wrasse).
If I should add additional, which type?

Your live rock and sand should provide adequate filtration. Just be sure to cycle the tank completly before adding the fish. I have a 55g hex with ~32lbs of live rock and 50lbs of sand as the only filtration.

I agree with the above statement, just remember to have adequate water flow. By the way your name just brought back many memories of back when I was in highschool cruisin in my Audi 200 Turbo listening to Wu-Tang Clan...
