Filtration for a nano

hello,
I currently have a 24g nano tank and I am wondering if anyone can suggest some good "external filters" ontop of the sponges in the back etc.

You can do a sump it will be small if you want to completely hide it but would help and there are some refuge mods people do to those nanos that would be good.
