filtration in qt?

Hi guys,
Setting up a QT, as you may see from other post, will a fluval 3 (internal) which was previously used for my freshwater tank be ok IF it is PROPERLY cleaned out and everything? The tank is 2 foot.

Sounds good to me. The thing with filters is that if you have to use medications for fish treatment, you will need to remove any carbon in that filter system [unless its old carbon].
Be sure to add PH's if you don't get enough circulation going [particualarly at water surface].

Yup all carbon will be taken out and this pump if placed well should create enough water movement on the surface,
