filtration question

hey guys,
I have a 20g H tank, i was wondering if an emporer 400 would be too much for the tank? I can get a really good deal on it is why i am asking , if it is going to be too much i am just going to get something a little smaller..

Depends on What you are going to have in it .. If its going to be a mini reef you can never have too much Flow although i would recomend a fuge/sump.

i would love to get a sump/fuge, but i don't have the money for it right now, i plan on getting one over the summer

my only worry is that after the 400 you don't have room for anything else like a skimmer. I would think a emperor 280 would be plenty for a 20H. Be sure you get some powerheads for circulation, you will need them in a taller tank.

i have already got my powerheads, i was worried about room too, but i think that there is enough room for me to get one on there, if not... i can always make up some kind of system...
