I am not new but have a new question for me. I want to try running a 125 gal non RR tank with about 150 pounds of live rock, skimmer, and a two foot refuigm, and two power heads. With no michanical filtration. Is this possible? My 150 gal. is RR but the over flows has the sponges in it. My problem is, my emperor 400, skimmer, anf refuigm wiil not all fit on back of the tank. Thank you for any help or suggestions.

Move the 125 away from the wall a bit so you can fit the stuffs behind! Use a overflow box to do sump/fuge system. :happyfish

I slide the emperror filters down my baffles once a month for a week in my sump for mechanical filtration. I have no sponges at all. I took out the sponge in the overflow. Just trying to eliminate all areas where food can get trapped.
