Hey everyone. I just wanted to know if an emperor 400 HOB filter and a Koralia 2 would be enough filtration for a 29 gallon bowfront with o... idk maybe 20 - 30 lbs of LS and and 30 lbs of LR.

You could get by with that but I would add another power head. Maybe a koralia 1 on the opposite side of the koralia 2. This will give you more flexibility when placing coral.

ok. What about lighting? I have a nova extreme 2x65 PC unit... is that enough for the low end corals?
Yes for low end coral. Zoas, mushrooms, green star polyps, and the like. No SPS or clams.

ok good... i am fine with that I'm in college..i don't feel like spending hundreds on really fragile corals haha. The tank has been set up for about 3 weeks now? After i add the filtration do you think it would be ok to put some fish in there?
I dont really wanna do the clown fish thing since I have a pair of perculas already in my reef back home (FLA) I was thinking maybe gobies, stuff like that. I really want to get a nice "reef package" with invertebrates and then wait about a week until i add fish

Assuming your cycle is complete then you could start by adding a few inverts.
