I noticed in another thread with a diagram of a set up. It had a sand bed in the wet dry. Im just getting started and had never seen that befor. Is it something for everyone or is it for special cases? I have a 150 FOWLR 100#+LR, 60#CC, and 13 damsels.
Amiracle wetdry Large Protien scimmer of an undisclosed brand. 2 trichro, 1 actinic white, 1 actinic blue
I boght the tank from someone who had it set up andf had a power outage and lost everything. Looked like lots of green slime algea all over that he could not get rid of. The live rock was covered when I got it. I scrubbed it down I also cleaned the sand and got the tank bck up and running. It is beautiful and have been doing a lot of research but hadn't seen anything about the sand bed in the wet dry. Any one who can help it would be much appreciated.
