fin rot

Can somebody please suggest a remedy for fin rot aside fromt he conventional treatments on the market. I am currently treating my comet grouper for a bad case of fin rot with parafix and it doesn't seem to be doing any good. I have to damsels in the tank as well and they are fine. Does anyone have any bright ideas???

im not too familiar with fin rot but all i can say is if the damsels are eating the fin of your fish. cuz when i had damsels it slowly ate another one of my fish. it looked diseased and then it died.:scared: my dominoe damsel was really agressive
