fin rot?

my maroon clown (purchased a few days ago) fins seem to be going black on the outskirts,what is it and wich medicine to use that is reef safe. <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />

Are the fins ragged or torn, deteriorating since you first purchased? If not, then this just may be a natural coloration change of a juvenile fish.

HI;
Seems to me that your seeing natural variations of color in the fins, particularly your use of the word black. If this were fin rot or a bactrial infection the color of the fin goes to a more whitsh more opaque color.
Keep an eye on it and see if it changes
