The waste line doesnt fit in the drain line with the washer line without it restricting the RODI waste line alittle. So i have been taking the washer line out and putting it back when im done. Well I forgot to put the washer line back in. When i was in class one of my roomies started a load of wash...well when it spun....all the detergent water from the washer emptied right into my 50g rubbermaid with the curing Sand.
I emptied the whole rubbermaid out and i took the hose to the rubbermaid out back. They used tide, so its all environmentally safe "" I rinsed it really well and then dried it off. Am I safe to start filling it with RODI and start from scratch again?
I tossed the sand btw, i fig that sand would never be Reef safe again. I guess i will rinse again and then watch for any bubbles in the rubbermaid during fill up.
I cannot believe I'm two days away from filling the tank and I already had my first disaster!
Oh well... I guess I should just count my blessings my LR wasnt in there yet. ( I was going to put that in there with the Sand this Fri.)
