i just figured out to get macro pics that aren't way out of focus

can't get close up on any of the fish yet, i'm having trouble getting the cam to focus all the time in macro too.........guess i'll have to keep practicing

Hey Blondie-
Good pics so far. May I make an assumption?
I bet that you are taking these pics and holding the camera at an angle toward the glass......like standing in one spot and aiming the camera either down or up toward the coral? If so, try to keep yourself even steven with the coral and take a straight on shot.........they will come out much sharper.
Also.....have you tried holding the cameras lens right up to the glass while it is in macro mode?

rye....yeah i do hold the cam at an angle, i will have to try holding it straight. i got a table top tripod, but haven't used that very much yet. thanks for the tips
