Alyssia,, do not pre- rinse them or you will have on sloppy goowey mess in your hand,, put them in a lettuce clip and let it ride!! or do what i do! I put it between my mag float magnets and then bring the magnet to the bottom of the tank,, doing this allows any on my crabs, hermies, emerald crabs, Arrow crabs or any other NORI grazers to have access to it as well!, Watch them flock to it along with your fish! Good Luck!

some of my tangs refuse to leave the area they feel comfortable in try putting the clip closer to the fish, that allways worked for me.

It's in the area my Foxface usually stays in. I've seen him nibble at it, and my Clownies and Firefish watched, but that's about it...
The only purpose it's REALLY served is for Romeo (clownie) to sleep wedged under it...

Any LFS will have it but it will be more $$$, just go to your local grocery store and buy it in the ethnic foods section or SUSHI department,, make sure you get NORI/SEAWEED with no additives!

ha ha, I know, I rinsed Julian Sprung sea veggies before! I just wanted to make sure you aren't supposed to rinse nori. I'm afraid it will make my skimmer go nuts.

It should not cause a skimmer to go nuts.........
I have all ways use the stuff from a LFS because it has extra vitemines ect. added that are good for the fish and not toxic, I have heard that some of the stuff you can get at a groceries store may have seasoning type stuff added that may be toxic for fish or the water and to only use what is called un seasoned, I have never got it from a grocerie type store, so, just in case.......might want to check it out...
