Finally got a Fu manchu

I finally found a nice Fu manchu lion. It is in the 30gl with my Angler. The angler is a bit smaller and they have been together 3 days now and seem to ignore each other.
So far all the Fu manchu seems interested in eating is live damsels. Hopefully I can get it switched over to prepared foods. It does perk up and almost seems to be checking out the flake I drop in to fatten up the damsels, but nothing yet, course have only had it a couple days.
The angler I have had about 2 months now, and it will take food at the end of a feeding stick, but it has to be whole and looking like a fish. I have been feeding occasional ghost shrimp. but damsels are the bulk.
Hopefully I can get them to take whole silversides soon. Damsels are not cheap.
Any suggestions on other foods?

Silversides, krill, squid, raw shrimp bits. That's pretty much what I feed my lions. Good luck with the new fish, it's beautiful.

THey are pretty awesome. I am not much into fish but have always wanted these two. Had the chance at a red angler but missed it while back and the black is the only seen local for some time so grabbed it and Fu manchu, I don't know why, jsut don't show around here very much. Been after one for some time, even had a call me with SWF, nothing, but then just happened upon this this last week.
Hope it does OK. I hear they can be difficult to switch over, but at least it seems to be eating live OK.
