Geez, wish I would have known I could have just overnighted you a piece out of my tank. I have so much xenia right now I dont know what to do with it. Would have just given it to you for the cost of sending it :)
Oh well..

P.S. I was almost ready to buy a 90 gallon the other day just to keep extra frags in :)

Hey,
Congrats NM reef! Sounds like your tank is coming along nicely. A nice Zenia is also on my list of corals to get. I've talked to people in my local area and they say they spread really nicely. One guy has them growing on the front glass of his tank!

andy send some my way.
I tried xenia a few months ago and the lfs charges to much to experiment with water quality and placement. I think it was just my tank was not quit as settled.

xenia was my first coral and now its multiplying like caulerpa all over the glass, if your water quality is good xenia will multiply very rapidly.. :D :D

Xenia rock. Ive got some that are growing nicely all over. Here's an idea that works well: grow some nice pieces of xenia by placing smaller rocks near an established colony. When the Xenia grow onto it, grow it up nice, bring it to a LFS, and ask for a trade. Most will be delighted to take it, and you'll get free stuff! ;) ;) ;)

I've been farming xenia for about two years now, along with other corals. I have blue ,white pom pom, and the regular brown xenia. I am always more than happy to sell or trade.
