Finally the 150

Thanks to all that helped in the tips and techniques section. I have got the 150 running and am well on my way. It's been running only 1 day now, but I would like some ideas to a stocking list. It will be a while as I do have more live rock on the way, but I want to be ready when the time comes. Let me know what you think.

Looks good, I would start by moving that chair in front of the tank. Maybe a powder blue tang, a blue jaw trigger, red flame angel, 2 cb shrimp's, naso tang.

Yeah, The chair has been moved, It helped with set up. I know I want either a zebra, or a goldentail eel. I would like to build a list based on one of those eels.

I love eel's. I Had a snowflake eel in a freshwater at one point, very fun animal. Just make the tank escape proof, they WILL get out.

They are great, I had a snowflake in my older tank, and want a new eel. Everthing I decide from here will be based on a goldentail, or a zebra. I will probably end up going with the Zebra, based on what I have heard about their behavior.

I was just looking at a rabbitfish today, they called it a 2 stripe. Absolutley beautiful. Hopefully it is around when I am ready to start putting in fish. This would make a great addition. I saw it in a WYSIWYG section,,,

Congrats on the new tank. May you have many happy years together.
From a decorating point of view, your rocks all come to the same height. The aquarium would be more visually interesting if you varied the height of the rocks so that some were short, some were higher, etc. But in the end, that's just my opinion and you should do what YOU like.

ya mate. looks goog specially when you get more rock and add some height to the aquascape for fish to swimm around in.

I did make adjustments to my rock work, I will get a pic up soon. I was thinking the following for a stock list. Be nice, and let me know what you all think.
1-Blue Girdled Angel
1-Zebra Eel
1-2 Bar Rabbitfish
1-Volitan Lionfish
1-Whitecheek Tang
1-Dogface Puffer
a bunch of opinions, and any experieces.

Yes I am in the process of building a canopy. The color is actually a lot lighter than it looks in the picture, I don't know what happened, maybe its from the red walls, and the CF bulbs in the ceiling fans making it look that dark in the pictures. Any one like my stocking list?

Thanks for the compliments, I also wished I had gone bigger sooner. This hobby is funny that way.
I am also going to assume that my stocking list looks good. (no comments)

I did add another 40lbs, and I am working on the rock layout! That picture was after day 1, give me a chance! LOL!
I know man, I'm not hating lol...
It looks like you're off to a good start...

If you do that zebra eel, make sure the rockwork is VERY stable as they're clumsy..
you may want to get some 2inch pvc and put a 45degree elbow at each end (no primer or cement though!) and put it in the sand bed for the eel to hide...

Cool, Thanks for the tip. I will be getting that eel, I just wish cycles were fast. Oh well, the wait continues.
