There are 2 that I go to. One is in Binghamton - Creature Comforts. The owner knows his stuff, as do a couple other people that work there, but most of the staff is clueless. His prices are pretty good, but I've had a terrible time getting healty fish from his shop. Coral and inverts seem fine, but I've had virtually no luck with his fish. The other is in Vestal, on RT. 26S - Nature's Best Fish. It's a smaller shop and the guy who owns it is the only employee, so you always deal with him. He generally knows what he's talking about, and doesn't push unnecessary hardware. His prices are noticably higher, but I've always had good luck with his stock. Only ever gotten 1 unhealthy item from him, and it was a carpet anemone that didn't ship well.
Where are you located? Hopefully, in about a month or so, I might have a couple of frags for ya - mushrooms and pulsing xenia, if you're ineterested.
