I realize that Nemo is a clownfish.
But what is Dory?
Does the fish with the light and teeth exist? What's his name?
I am sorry for my ignorance!!!

The fish with the light does exist. It is a deep water anglor. There are many species of anglor's, some wave what appears to be a small fish infront of their mouth. Others blend into their surroundings and appear like stones, hence the name stone fish. You can do more research on anglors to find specifics. Note, many are extremely poisionous(sp)

A "Dorry" fish won't even thrive in a 75 gallon. They need at least a 120 gallon and even better 150 gallon plus as they are very fast swimmers that like a lot of length in the tank to swim at full speed at times. Lesley

what they all said
This seems appropriate for this thread. My wife and I have had a 55g for about a year now with a yellow tang. we both enjoyed the movie and have watched it several times. We absolutely laughed our heads off with the red tang crossing guard. Would not have caught the humor if not for watching our tang all these months.
also the short on the reefs was excellent.

This is halarious!!! Talk about two becoming one.
THE SEXUAL PARASITE
Finding a mate in the dark depths of the ocean is a pretty tough job! So what does a male anglerfish do when he finds a mate? He never lets her go! The male lives as a parasite on the body of the much larger female, taking his food from her bloodstream. In the time their bodies fuse together, forming a sort of two body hermaphrodite. Although this arrangement primarily benefits the male, it also frees both sexes from constantly seeking out new breeding partners whenever it is time to mate. How do they find each other in the darkness? Although at one time it was thought that each lure was designed to attract special prey, it now appears that the unique shape has evolved to attract a male of the same species who recognizes his future mate by her lure.
