Hi
Just got a small Finger Leather Coral from lfs. Where whould i be placing this specimen? Right now (post acclimation) I have it in the upper 1/3rd of the tank (110 Tall with 1 400W MH, and 4 40W Atinic flourencents)... Let me know what you think.
Thanks

With most any new coral you should start them low and move them higher over a period of a few days so they dont get light shock and bleach. Most leathers do fine in med. light. My Kenyas do fine on the bottom under 250MH.

I agree with the post above. You should have it low in the tank. Leather corals will grow just fine at the bottom of your tank with a 400w MH.
