My Percula clown seems to not like his food. I have tried marine flakes, freezdried brine, and frozen brine. He will eat a few frozen, but doesnt seem enough to me.
Am I worrying about nothing here?
The (4)green chromis and (1)damsel eat like pigs.
Thanks

The Tank is a 55 FO, been up for a month. The chromis were added at the end of second week ,end of week 3 the damsel (yellow underside/blue body) and the end of week 4 the Percula Clown was added.
I went thru the stages fo the cycle, my nitrites went high then dropped as the nitrate began to rise. Im around 8.2 ph and keep the water in the 80 degree range.
The clown is gettin more familiar with his surroundings now, I just have to feed them the frozen brine daily ( i wish the cubes came in half cube sizes) He is swimming more like a clown now. Seems that he has found his home on top of a powerhead at night.
BTW- What kind of anenomoe can I have without vho or MH lighting, currently have a 10k 20watt and a 50/50 coralife 20 watt both 24" 1 on each side. Is there any or should i absolutely wait til i get the vho?
Thanks,
Mr.Limpet

My 3 clowns also seem to like sleeping up against the powerheads at night. Since these fish tend to do best when "paired", you may consider getting your lone clown a mate....and don't worry about trying to figure out what --- you should get; the clowns will accomodate themselves so that they are paired male/female irregardless of original sexual orientation.

If you have a tank established with the clown already (especially maroons which are aggressive), you might not be able to introduce a new one. If introduced together from the beginning, it is usually easier. In the past, I've tried adding another maroon after the first month of the other one being established and it would be harassed to no end. Just from experience.
